Fimgohost Acceptable Usage Policy
1. Offensive Content
You may not publish or transmit via Fimgohost service any content that Fimgohost reasonably believes:
- Constitutes pornography or child pornography;
- Is excessively violent, incites violence, threatens violence, or contains harassing content or hate speech;
- Is unfair or deceptive under the consumer protection laws of any jurisdiction, including chain letters and pyramid schemes;
- Is defamatory or violates a person's privacy;
- Creates a risk to a person's or the public safety or health, compromises national security, or interferes with an investigation by law enforcement;
- Improperly exposes trade secrets or other confidential or proprietary information of another person;
- Is intended to assist others in defeating technical copyright protections;
- Clearly infringes on another person's trade or service mark, patent, or other property right;
- Promotes illegal drugs, violates export control laws, relates to illegal gambling, or illegal arms trafficking;
- Is otherwise illegal or solicits conduct that is illegal under laws applicable to you or to Fimgohost;
- Is otherwise malicious, fraudulent, or may result in retaliation against Fimgohost by offended viewers;
- Promotes or is related to crypto mining, online wallets or decentralised applications (dapp).
2. Vexation & Harassment
Fimgohost does not tolerate any harassment, malice, or abuse towards its employees or subsidiaries. Any form of harassment, cursing, threats, or ill will directed towards Fimgohost staff or authorized agents shall not be tolerated.
The Customer agrees to conduct themselves in a professional manner regardless of the method of communication with Fimgohost. Should the Customer be found in violation of this clause Fimgohost reserves the right to suspend or terminate services with or without prior notice and without liability.
3. Unlimited Resource Policy
You will find from our hosting services that we have indicated unlimited on some features:
- Unlimited bandwidth implies that we do not strictly limit traffic to your websites.
- Unlimited disk space means that you do not have to worry about the total size of files hosted on your account while creating additional websites.
- Unlimited domains option enables you to add as many new domains to your hosting account as you would like.
However, like with all hosting companies, we monitor our servers for excessive use/abuse so as to ensure optimal performance for everyone.
4. Cron Jobs
On Shared and Reseller hosting packages, Cron Jobs are provided on the cPanel. Any Cron Jobs running at a frequency of less than 30 minutes should NOT be configured to send mails. To disable mailing, add >/dev/null 2>&1 at the end of your cron job command.
5. External Storage
Fimgohost external storage packages are for storing account backup and server restoration data only. External storage packages may not be used for content delivery networks, file exchange and download sites, torrents or other bulk delivery services.
6. Network Abuse
Fimgohost does not allow, condone or authorize any forms of network abuse including but not limited to denial-of-service attacks, phishing attempts, port scans, SYN Floods etc. Fimgohost reserves full right to determine what constitutes network abuse and take the appropriate action against the Customer.
7. Phishing and Spamming
Phishing: If your account is reported or suspected to be phishing, our abuse team will investigate. Confirmed wanton phishing will result in account termination and domain deletion.
Spamming: Wanton spamming activities will result in account suspension. We do not allow bulk mailing through our shared hosting and reseller platforms.
8. IP Addresses
Fimgohost assigns IP addresses to clients based upon the guidelines of ARIN. All IP Address allocations must be justified. Fimgohost reserves the right to request verification at any time for assigned IP addresses.
9. Prohibited Materials and Services
Fimgohost does not accept material such as:
- Public proxy, torrents, tor, warez, escrow, HYIP, illegal gambling and lottery sites;
- Any software that interfaces with an IRC network;
- Distributed computing software such as SETI@home or coin miners;
- Gaming servers such as Battlefield, Minecraft, Counter-Strike, etc.;
- Any file sharing, bit torrent or other P2P network services.
10. Security
The customer takes full responsibility for maintaining reasonable security precautions for your account. You are responsible for protecting and updating any login account provided to you.
11. Material Protected by Copyright
You may not publish, distribute, or otherwise copy in any manner any music, software, art, or other work protected by copyright law unless you have been expressly authorized by the owner of the copyright or are otherwise permitted by established copyright law.
12. FBTDL Category Domains/Services
FBTDL categories include: Forex, Banks/Bitcoin/Crypto, Token verification, Decentralised Apps, and Logistics domains. Any domain/service in this category will either be terminated or validated. Fimgohost reserves the right to decide which domains fit this category.
13. Abuse Tickets
Fimgohost standard policy is to contact the Customer when a violation occurs. The Customer shall be given all appropriate details of the violation as well as a time frame to correct the issue. Fimgohost reserves the right to suspend or terminate an account with or without notice at its own discretion.
